Dayton girls' basketball captures own Pepe/Levee Tournament behind MVP Kuczynski
The Dayton High School girls' basketball team captured its own Pepe/Levee Tournament last week, defeating Mount St. Mary of Watchung 41-32 in the championship game.
Sophomore guard Jen Kuczynski poured in a season-high 19 points to pace the Bulldogs, who won their fourth straight to improve to 4-1. Kuczynski was named the tournament's MVP.
Sophomore guard Emily MacDonnell netted 14 points, while sophomore point guard Anna Lies and Allie Weber added four each.
