Sage honors couple

Ed and Marge Reichman lived in Springfield for much of their married life where they raised their family and made many friends. Springfield is also where they chose to deliver meals weekly to numerous clients.
Over the years, the couple has developed close relationships with many of the homebound individuals, often times continuing to visit and check on people after they no longer need meals delivered.
When some Meal On Wheels clients were asked about Ed and Marge, everyone agreed that they are the sweetest and cutest couple whose devotion and faithful service to the Sage’s Meals on Wheels program changed their lives. In paying tribute to the Reichmans, one client wrote a poem to thank them for their “vigorous devotion, generosity and for sharing their lives with seniors in need.”
The Reichmans spend a lot of time with their children and grandchildren and are regular babysitters of their granddogs.
